Validation Cloud Launches Mavrik-1 AI Engine on Hedera to Make DeFi Data Analysis and Web3 Accessible to All
Crypto infrastructure firm Validation Cloud revealed the launch of Mavrik-1, a Hedera-based AI engine, allowing users and developers to gain insights into the DeFi market by posing questions in straightforward English.
While DeFi has the potential to transform financial systems, its inherent complexity has often hindered broader acceptance. Many users find themselves faced with a steep learning curve laden with specialized terms like liquidity mining, impermanent loss, and staking. Interacting with numerous DeFi platforms typically necessitates navigating command-line interfaces and intricate web applications.
Mavrik-1 empowers users to inquire about issues such as which trading pairs exhibit the widest spreads or which stablecoin boasts the highest transaction volume on the blockchain. It’s akin to having a personal AI consultant at your fingertips.
The introduction of natural language queries signifies a significant advancement in data analysis accessibility and alters the way investors engage with blockchain technologies.
“This marks a crucial milestone for the Hedera ecosystem,” stated Viv Diwakar, Chief Information Officer at Hedera Foundation, in a statement shared with media outlets. “Validation Cloud’s Data x AI platform introduces an innovative method for interacting with blockchain data, enhancing usability and insights for developers, businesses, and users within our ecosystem.”
Validation Cloud serves as the AI backbone for Web3 finance, offering a range of products encompassing Data x AI, Staking, and Node API solutions.
According to the announcement, Mavrik-1 is closely integrated with Hedera-based DeFi applications like hUSDC and Karate Combat, as well as various leading DeFi platforms. Its training in blockchain contexts ensures responses are relevant and context-aware.
“We developed Mavrik because accessing and understanding on-chain activities shouldn’t require advanced degrees in Web3,” remarked Andrew McFarlane, CTO of Validation Cloud. “By delivering real-time intelligence in natural language, we’re making Web3 accessible to everyone.”
The launch on Hedera serves as an initial step, with plans for compatibility with other blockchains, culminating in a complete public launch, referred to as Mavrik 2, anticipated later this year.
Established in 2021, Hedera is a unique proof-of-stake network governed without central leadership, utilizing aBFT hashgraph consensus. The Hedera Foundation supports the ecosystem’s growth through grants and expert assistance for decentralized applications across sectors such as DeFi, NFTs, and more.
