Binance Square Launches Livestream for Traders, Competing with Other Social Media Platforms

Binance Square, a social networking platform established by the cryptocurrency exchange Binance in October 2022, is set to introduce a new livestream feature.

According to Binance, this addition aims to offer seasoned traders and content creators a fresh avenue to connect with their audience. The goal of these livestreams is to promote education, boost user interaction on the platform, and improve understanding of market dynamics.

Livestreaming capabilities are already available on major social media networks, including X.

In November, the Solana-based token generation platform pump.fun halted its livestreaming service following instances of inappropriate or hazardous behavior from users. However, the feature was quietly reinstated in April with enhanced safety measures.
